ok i hate this time of the year when everything is closed.

i spent the whole day at home yesterday and only smoked 1 stick....wat an achievement. then i got some dj software and started tinkering with it. now im toying with the idea of using that as a sampler...might just work.

wah daryl's party was pretty kickass

got there around 8+ and there were already people pretty high so i knew this was gonna be fun. Took over the bartending duties and fixed up some really crazy shit for random people and then watch them slowly disintegrate hahah so fun.

then borrowed a DSLR and went around and shot random people and i think they came out pretty fine heh

the party ended around 3 and i looked around and saw drunk people passed out so i had to join in...i had 3 free beers from someone and this is lesson in life number 343953....never drink beer AFTER drinking hard liquor. to cut a long story short, i got wasted and apparently i was puking all over the couch AHAHA

then had to go shopping with mum and and and i bought a pink shirt LOL

Wont i ever be able to find a job where i dont actually have to go out and meet people? fuck man i just can never seem to find a job i really like.....but that aside i did some copywriting today...for of all things, MINDEF for their total defense day e-newsletter, did the tagline for zomedia's chinese new year e-greeting cards and wrote the press release for the jazz concert at the alliance francaise that will be sent out to the media including the Straits Times.

training just now and the coach brought me to one corner and asked me if i'd like to captain the team for 2009 pretty cool shit so im now shortlisted together with a few others but i dont think i stand a big chance cos the other fellas have been in the team since 2005 and so on....i only joined the team in mid 2007 but see how la.

i settled the application for la salle now i have an interview with them on the 16th feb. Apparently the interviewer is quite a blunt fella but i dont know if they will set a high standard or what. Portfolio wise i think im fine, my biggest worry now is finance hope i can get a grant or something.

its fucking annoying when people who have money can get to do whatever they want while i cant oh well

went for a date last night at..of all places, clark quay lol then went to iguana and i introduced her to jose cuervo tequila, frozen margaritas and kick ass ambience. I know she liked it and the best part is we were at their happy hour so we didnt have to spend much also.

shes nice la but its unnerving when she tells me shes got like 11 guys after her, that one total turn off i hate having to "fight" for girls so i think i'll just adopt an anything goes mentality. besides whatever she lacks in looks, she makes up for it in her humour. Shes probably the most hilarious girl i know....really full of shit. at least i know the chemistry is there.

well work work work and tmrw and fri need to go for some jazz concert shit at alliance francaise blah work long hours again.

and she also asked me to show all my recent work, designs and writings and stuff on monday so now need to write more new stuff.



been feeling really inspired lately so wrote a lot of short stories spanning various genres but mostly narrative and dialogue based stuff, posted all of them on facebook so i could get some comments....quite surprised people actually loved them



especially the 8am one haha



meeting tomorow with khalid to discuss marketing strategy and fri tattoo convention...sat opening league match and sunday shoot with vel......okay i've got my days planned.....cant wait to settle my portfolio

So last week the team was issued with the new jerseys for 2009 and for the Equatorial Football League. our home set consisted of a red jersey, red shorts and red socks and away kit consists of a yellow jersey but the rest remains the same. Now here comes the joke......apparently according to FBT (the brand), red is hot pink. So now we are going to have 11 guys wearing hot pink chasing after a bloody ball. How gay is that? And it doesnt help that the shirts are pretty tight fitting as well.....thank god i didnt get L.....even XL so tight for me.

last night was not bad...almost got screwed over when porky suddenly disappeared but at least the 4 of us salvaged it. Went to clarke kway and the interesting thing was, all of us were joking saying what happens if we bump into our ex gfs (apparently all of us have ex gfs who frequent clark quay) and fucking hell true enough the next day i find out that woman was there....THANK GOD never bump into her sure mood spoil. ok so we then went to 7-11 at penin to escape the crowd, bought some drinks i had jim beam and a 750ml bottle of golden ale before that from brewerks and we went to the padang to drink and talk cock like the old days then take cab to ECP macs for breakfast then to farrel's place to play rockband 2 then go home.

quite an interesting start to the year...just hope its a better year this year.
